This is a very nice storage bench, but that's where my compliments end. I just opened the box in which this bench came in, and I am very disappointed. The screws (tiny screws) holding the hinges in place ripped from the top and bottom of the bench. It has destroyed the material. I think my husband can fix it so we might not need to return it, but I am not happy. The screws are too short. Longer screws would keep the hinges secure. Very disappointed in the assembly!
