Bought this table for our dining room because I was on a search for a square table that wasn't pub height and one that was large enough to seat 8 people. This worked out just perfectly. I ordered it without the glass so I cant comment on what that would look like. I can note that the table is actually almost black in color which doesn't really show from the picture. I was very impressed with the table as it looks much nicer than the picture and I wasn't really sure what to expect! There was some very minor damage to the table, all of which I colored in with a black marker and you cannot tell. I will note that I did not receive any instructions in the box on how to assemble the table but it was very easy and did not take us long to put together. Overall, very impressed and I love it!
